Over the past few months, I have been working hard on honing in on my newborn photography skills. I have taken an e-workshop with the wonderful Rachel Vanoven, am currently taking a workshop with the amazing Lisa of Milk and Honey Photography, as well as doing some one on one mentoring with some awesome photographer friends, Tamara Hart of Bump Meet Baby Photography and Danielle of Danielle Hobbs Photography. Danielle and I will meet for two more sessions of mentoring over the next month or so as she will guide me and also let me take the lead to see what I have learned. I am over the moon with how things are going.
Last week I got the opportunity to meet with both of these wonderful photographers for some baby lovin and I just wanted to share a few images. I’ll share more as I get through with my editing, but I just could NOT wait to share these few images. I want to note that both Tamara and Danielle set up these poses… I was observing and learning from them how to do this on my own. My first job was to get the right angle, which no one can do for me, I have to learn this… with guidance and encouragement from both gals, I was able to get these beautiful images. Both of these girls are simply amazing photographers, business owners, friends. I am so blessed to have this kind of friendship with them and this kind of encouragement and mentoring at this point in my career!
I am looking forward to getting my hands on a newborn next week to practice what I am learning, but for now… here you go… enjoy!
