I had the privilege of attending an amazing photography workshop in Charlotte in June. I have followed Michele at Pinkle Toes Photography for a couple of years and have to admit she was my first real photographer crush! 😉 Michele is amazing at what she does, so when I saw that she was doing traveling workshops this summer, I jumped at the chance to attend! I was, in fact, the first one to sign up for the Charlotte workshop! Yeah, like I said… huge crush!
I was able to travel to Charlotte with a van full of amazing photographers from South Carolina. Part of what I love about the network of women I have met in and around Columbia is their genuine desire for each of us to succeed at our businesses. These women do NOT view each other as competition, but rather as fellow artists and most importantly, friends. I was able to add to that precious group of friends by meeting so many gals from all over the states. I count each of them dear to my heart. We had so much fun together that a handful of us are attending a reunion trip to NYC next spring!!!
I won’t bore you too much more with how totally awesome this workshop was for me, but rather give you a taste of what we captured during our time together… I will say that the many, many wonderful tools I learned are going to play a huge role in my business from here on out. I saw that immediately in the first session I had the day after this workshop. Pure magic…. magic that came from my own eye… I am so proud of what I learned that I already knew, but was given a boost of confidence in by attending Michele’s workshop. There are many wonderful and beautiful things coming for Joyful Images Photography… I am going to relaunch and rebrand in the coming months and I am confident that my existing clients and my new clients will be pleased with what will be offered. I almost can’t wait to share!!!
Thank you for believing in me and trusting me with your family photos… I am blessed beyond measure!
Oh, and you can see Michele’s post about our workshop here!
